stones taught me to fly
love, it taught me to lie
life taught me to die
so it's not hard to fall
when you float like a cannonball

*Rumble*....in the Bronx?

I would go up to the kitchen and scrounge around for food if I wasn't so lazy. Plus, it is almost 4:30, so I probably shouldnt' eat much - if anything at all.

I should be working on this blasted Ecology paper of mine, but I just don't feel like writing it. How much more could this suck? Seriously. The answer is: not much more.

I'm actually QUITE hungry now though. Initially I was going to use the title "Rumbly in my tumbly", or something along those lines, but that's Theresa's...if I remember correctly. Not wanting to steal anyone's phrases...I decided to use the title of a Jackie Chan movie instead (mental picture: Zin cheering right about now). Come to think of it, the late Anita Miu is in that movie too. She had a mullet in that film, and *what* a mullet it was. *cringe* I recently watched the dubbed version of it - there were English voiceovers to it. Jackie decided to be ever-so-"cool" and bask in his Engalishu-awesomeosity - he did his own English dubbing. Because of that, the movie automatically transformed from an action flick to a comedy for me. Haha, I had some good laughs. Of course, I unfortunately didn't get to finish watching it. I guess that'll go under my list of things to do over the Christmas break: finish laughing at Jackie Chan.

My neck area...the part where it joins onto my shoulders...is getting to be quite sore. Yea, I'm supposed to be a Bio major and yet I'm referring to body parts by saying: "Yea, you know...that part that's...curvy...and has got skin..and some pores too maybe? It's got some bones underneath...and I think that flesh might be lining that?" Hahah. Thank goodness I don't aspire to go into Med. You wouldn't want to visit my clinic. Or, would you?? =P I can guarantee an interesting prognosis each time...hahaha! So yea, getting back to my neck. It's sore. I've been at the computer all of today. I didn't go to WMST because I didn't have the essay completed - meaning there was no point in going - so I had nothing to submit. I've been toiling away at my Ecology paper all day. This things seems like it's going nowhere. Help me. *whimpers*

Lately I've been digging out my OLD MP3's again...out from the depths of backup and storage CD's. It's nice to listen to songs again that I might've really liked in the past at some point in time, then went overboard with listening to it and killed it, then decided to back it up and not touch it for many months. One tune would be Jaci Velasquez - Come As You Are. I don't know if I had sent this to anyone else, but Anne has got to know this one. It was one of those Gr.12 songs - it was definitely on repeat. =)

Speaking of Grade 12...while taking extended breaks from essay-writing (if you could even call it that for me), I've had plenty of time to sit and just think. I've been reflecting back on the Wasaga trip, and prom. Those were some some amazing times. Luckily, lots of pictures were taken (guess who went camera happy?). With all 500 Wasaga photos, it'll be pretty hard to forget any of the key moments from that week. My meat pile that stacked tall and proud, making bubbletea at 2 a.m., cooking in a bathing suit, killing insects with the zappy racquet, SHAMOO, questionable hot tub pictures, 12-minute ab workouts followed by Cheetos snacking (hahaha!), curly fries midnight snacks, being caught red handed for sleeping during Monopoly, listening to Coldplay during dinner, rationing of food and the purpose that it served (LOL!), invading the pool and playing games, meeting the scary John man and his daughters, being fed turkey drumstick and Calbee chips while in the hot tub (talk about 5-star service!), mango jello in wine glasses, first-aid treatment for a deep gash in the thumb, gigantic spiders at the bridge railings, seeing the Northern lights, Joyce telling off those two guys who tried to hit on us, me chasing bats around the beach at night, 4 people squeezing onto a King bed, apple pie with vanilla ice cream, breaking the spatula while making brownies, henna tattoos, etc. The list is pretty much non-exhaustive. I could go on forever....

Prom was...prom. It was fun, but there are some things that I would rather not look back on. Haha! *ahem* turning red *ahem* One lesson that I definitely learned tough - those La Senza something Wings bras are so incredibly un-comfortable. See, guys get it easy when they have to dress up for formal occasions. Sure, they have to throw on a dress shirt, possibly a vest, a tie, a jacket, and some slacks. Women have to wear crazy "special" bras with long dresses and hairdos that don't move 'cuz they're encrusted in 60 litres of sparkly hairspray. Anyway, so back to the La Senza bra. Talk about uncomfortable. I think back on it now, and I don't even know where it is - *phew*. I wouldn't want to have to wear that thing again. Adhesive tape around your sides for 6+ hours is not what I would call a fun time. The afterparty was cool though. The limo ride was sweet. Ping pong and alcohol don't mix. Gorging on chicken fingers at 3 a.m. is totally cool, especially if you had a cruddy "formal" dinner many hours prior. Hrm...good times, good times. =)

Okay, that's enough with the nostalgia already. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go back to the Abbey and visit before they let out for Christmas break. My last exam is on the 21st this year; killer Animal biology lab exam that will last for 6 hours. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 3 p.m. Hehe! =P Then it's parrrrrrrrrrrrrtyyy time!

Speaking of party...
this weekend will be fun! Gonna hit up Distrikt after my shark dissection (of all things) to see Thu one last time before he departs for Taiwan. Then it's off to Bradford on Saturday to play in a badminton tournament. Now to get these essays done first....

Hello there, "anonymous" ;)

Haha...yea, Jackie Chan is great to watch if you want a good laugh. Of course, Zin probably begs to differ and wants to hurt me now. Heh!

My mark on the 3rd floor is GONE!!! I went to check last time, and the wall was....unmarked and unscathed! I was about to cry! I must re-mark outside of room 324 ASAP!

I think I'm going back to visit with Iola once I'm done exams. Wanna join us? Or, we could go back sometime next term together if you want. I mean, your sister IS managing the team, so I would definitely like to check that out. :)

I am SO hoping to plan some sort of trip soon for us again. Oh, can you just IMAGINE?!!?!? :) :) :)

Heh...prom was, interesting...as I said. ;)
