Bring on the pain!
Just when you thought that things couldn't get any worse, new joy is always found. Whether it be a place of salvation, or a means of de-stressing, there is always a way.
Half of me feels like I've found that reason or method of release. The remaining half still thrives on stressing and feeling. Can there be no balance?
I'm not going to try and formulate my thoughts in this post. Everything's too jumbled right now. Although I'm quite exhausted from getting up at 7:00 a.m., my mind won't rest. I need to talk. I need a release. I wish I was back up in Haliburton.
I had BIOL 2050 (Ecology) this morning from 9:30-10:30. Upon arriving at Mish's parking lot, it dawned on me that I'd forgotten to pick up my documents from Central Square. D'oh. Rushing back towards campus, I lined up and took care of it all. We raced to Yorkdale after that and hopped onto the subway to head downtown. It was a really nice day out; warm, sunny, clear skies, slight breeze...toasty! To walk on King Street from St. Andrew's Station all the way to Peter St., where MEC is located, was quite the enjoyable trek. Okay, so it may not so much have been a "trek". It really wasn't THAT far. Don't mind the exaggeration. So anyway, I grabbed a 1.5 L Nalgene bottle for Brian upon entering the store, then quickly headed towards the daypack section by the far wall. I picked out a new bag upon pacing back and forth down the aisle repeatedly...examining...and re-examining...the different styles of backpacks. Too big. Too small. Too long. Bad colour. Just plain ugly. Heh. Upon finally deciding upon one, I discovered that my choice was currently out of stock. Bah! Not cool! I'll have to trek back down to the store in about two week's time. I ended up buying an $8 fan pack (what a steal!!!) and Brian's bottle...as well as Mark's bottle that Mish was picking up for him. We walked down King St. and wandered into a Shopper's Drug Mart so that I could pick up (
Anyway, I'm out of here.
